Guess what guys…I can drink coffee again!!! I can’t tell you how happy this makes me. (It’s the little things in life, right?).
Now, I know coffee addictions and pregnancy don’t mix, so don’t worry, I’m going easy. We’re talking like half a cup a day, which is probably only like 100 mg (if that) and we’re good to go up to 300 mg of caffeine.
I know, half a cup doesn’t sound like anything to get excited about, but I am excited. It’s just enough to take me out of my fog, and I’m loving the taste. And – just the fact that I can stomach it is exciting in and of itself.
I’m just about 12 weeks along now, so I’m right on schedule for this whole morning sickness to be over, for real this time.
(I hope I didn’t just jinx it.)
(Speaking of jinxing things – totally off topic here, but new moms: don’t announce on Facebook that your child is starting to sleep through the night. It is a guarantee that they will not do it again for a long, long time.)
